Bacon Wrapped Smokies
1 pkg. “Lil Smokies” smoked sausages
Bacon-uncooked-cut to wrap around sausages
Wrap each smokie in piece of bacon strip-toothpick to hold it.
Place on cookie sheet (lined with foil or clean up is no fun)
Sprinkle generously with brown sugar.
Bake at 375-400° until brown
This is always a big hit!
Olive Nut Spread
6 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup Mayo
2 Tablespoons liquid from salad olives
Dash of ground pepper
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped green salad olives
Combine the cream cheese and mayo in a medium bowl and mix well.
Add the liquid from the salad olives, and the pepper and mix.
Now fold in the pecans and the salad olives. Best when refrigerated overnight.
Serve with crackers, or on bread
2 cans black eyed peas
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can yellow corn, drained
1 can white corn (peg), drained
1 can black olives, chopped
1 can chopped green chilies
3 large tomatoes, chopped
1 ½ tsp. minced garlic
1 bunch green onions, chopped
Half a purple onion, chopped
2 seeded jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
16 oz. Wishbone Italian dressing
Cilantro to taste
Salt to taste
Put in a big bowl. Make the night before for better flavor.
Buddig Cream Cheese Spread
1 package of cream cheese
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 package chopped Pastrami Budding lunch meat
Chop Budding meat into small pieces. Chop green onions into small pieces. Mix all the ingredients together using your hands (Moisten hands to keep from sticking).
Serve with crackers.
Slow Cooker Party Meatballs Recipe
3 lb frozen Meatballs
24 oz Chili Sauce
1½ cup Grape Jelly
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (optional)
Add all ingredients except meatballs to slow cooker and stir until mixed.
Add meatballs and stir to coat.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
